While the concept of this show is simple, a collection of images that depict found or artfully created patterns and their inherent flaws, the potential for insight into the way we see the world is profound. Culture can be understood as a pattern, the fabric onto which we project unique meaning. On one level, “Packet Loss” speaks to the way an artist exists as an individual in society. The irony is that loss, the aberration in the pattern, is the foundation on which a pattern is built to grow. Submit work from any media that addresses the use of patterns.
